One Sunday afternoon we decided to take a drive to see the leaves with our friends, Rick and Jalissa. We drove up to Mesa Falls and it was so beautiful! Rick has a drone that he uses for his job in reality, so we flew it up and around the falls and captured some really neat photos!
Rick and Jalissa are having a baby, and they threw a Halloween-themed gender reveal party the Saturday before Halloween! How fun is that! The colors were orange (boy) and purple (girl), instead of the traditional blue and pink. I thought it would be nice to get them a little gift, so Zach and I picked out the cutest little headband and baby moccasins. I wrapped the headband in one box and the shoes in another, one with a purple bow and one with an orange bow, to give to them depending on what the gender ended up being.
I was lucky to be able to help decorate, and I made a cute chalkboard for guests to cast their votes on what they thought the gender would be. It turned out so cute!
And in case you're wondering.... IT'S A GIRL!!! :)
The Thursday before Halloween, we had our annual Harman family Halloween party! My mother in law is so cute and always makes it so much fun! We had a "spooky" Halloween dinner, the kids played Halloween twister and then we watched Private Eyes, an old murder mystery comedy we all love!
The costumes were as follows: a minion, a nerd, Jace Robertson, Chewbacca, the cutest Tootsie Roll on the planet, and Beauty and the Beast!!
The day of Halloween, little Will had a basketball game in the morning. We all went to watch him play and he did such a great job! He really is a great little ballplayer. After his game, we went to lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant and then went to the community Halloween celebration. They had a Thriller dance competition, face painting, a train ride for the kids, and of course the Headless Horseman made a surprise visit!!!
Zach and I ended the night with our ward Halloween dinner and Trunk-or-Treat. We sat with our friends the Malstroms and had such a good time with them! We laughed so hard, took some selfies and really enjoyed watching all the cute kids having a blast.
October 2015 was one to remember. Thank Heaven for Fall!!!
Happy Fall, Y'all!!!!
